Jello-and fruit perfect for the holidays. I found this recipe in magazine. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. Ingredients:
4 serving size strawberry gelatin (may use sugar free) |
3/4 cup boiling water |
1 cup ocean spray whole cranberry sauce |
1 tablespoon grated orange rind |
1/2 cup ocean spray cranberry juice cocktail |
2 cups thawed cool whip |
9 inches baked pie shells, cool |
Directions:
1. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cranberry sauce and rind; add juice. Chill until thickened. 2. Fold in whipped topping. Chill again until mixture will mound. 3. Pour into pie shell. 4. Chill until firm, about 3 hours. 5. Garnish with cranberries, if desired. |
