If you just eat one of these they will serve 8. Ingredients:
whites of 4 large eggs |
1 1/2 c. sugar |
a pinch of salt |
Directions:
1. Mix all these ingredients together at low speed. 2. Then turn mixer to high speed and mix for 15 minutes. 3. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and mix. 4. Cut piece of brown paper to fit cookie sheet and grease slightly. 5. Place meringues on cookie sheet and bake at 250 to 300 for 22 minutes, or until light brown. 6. This makes 7 or 8 meringues. |
