My memere's recipe for a haliday favorite. Ingredients:
1 lb ground pork |
1/2 lb ground beef |
1 lb pork sausage |
1 onion, diced |
2 potatoes, cubed |
bell's poultry seasoning |
salt and pepper |
2 pie crusts |
Directions:
1. Brown the meat in a large pot. 2. Once fat starts to render, add onion and potatoes. 3. Once potatoes are cooked through add poutry seasoning to taste (I use about 1/4 of a box), salt, and pepper. 4. Mash until everything is one even mix. 5. Unroll pie crusts and fill with meat filling. 6. Bake at 350 about 25 minutes, until crust is baked through. |
