My Grandmother (Memaw) made this dip in the summer for family get togethers. She created this recipe herself in the 50's and won a local grocery store contest with it. This makes a large batch and will feed a crowd.Everytime I make it I remember being a child in her kitchen.Because I was the only one who helped her in the kitchen she only taught me how to make it.I included the chill time as cooking time. Ingredients:
16 ounces small curd cottage cheese |
4 ounces sour cream |
8 ounces cream cheese |
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese |
1 large onion (grated) |
1 teaspoon accent seasoning |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
1 tablespoon parsley flakes |
1 tablespoon paprika |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients( except paprika ) well with mixer.Sprinkle with paprika.Cover and chill at least six hours . Serve with your favorite snack crackers. Enjoy! |
