this recipe was given to me by a friend and they are melt in your mouth shortbread cookies! YUMMM! Ingredients:
1/2 cup cornstarch |
1/2 cup icing sugar |
1 1/4 cup flour |
1 cup butter |
Directions:
1. Sift 1st 3 ingred. together into bowl 2. Blend butter room temp into dry ingred with spoon until soft dough is formed. 3. Shape into balls about the size of large marble. 4. Place on cookie sheet. 5. Flatten Balls till they are quite thin. 6. Bake in slow oven at 300 degrees for 15-20mins or until edges are lite brown. ( Note the last time I made these I only baked for 12 mins in my oven at 300) |
