You can throw this together in the morning, (or the night before!) and supper's ready when you are! Ingredients:
3 lb. beef short ribs |
2 tbsp. packed brown sugar |
3 cloves garlic, minced |
1 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed |
1/4 cup all-purpose flour |
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) campbell's condensed french onion soup |
1 bottle (12 fl. oz.) dark ale or beer |
Directions:
1. Place beef, brown sugar, garlic and thyme in 3 1/2- to 6-qt. crock pot/slow cooker. 2. Sprinkle with flour and toss to coat. 3. MIX soup and ale and pour over beef. 4. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hr.* or until beef is fork-tender. 5. Remove beef from sauce. 6. Spoon off fat from sauce before serving. 7. Enjoy with potatoes or noodles. 8. *HIGH 4 to 5 hr |
