This salad may introduce some new fruits to the wee ones. Get the wee ones involved with fixing this fruit salad for their snack or mealtime? Serving size is figured for a 1-5 year old child. Ingredients:
2 cups cantaloupe, cubed |
2 cups honeydew melon, cubed |
2 cups watermelon, cubed |
1 cup blueberries |
2 tablespoons sugar or 2 tablespoons honey |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
fresh mint leaves (optional) |
Directions:
1. Combine fruit. 2. Mix together honey and lemon juice and pour over fruit. 3. Toss to mix. 4. Cover and refrigerate until serving time. 5. Garnish with mint leaves. |
