This is a no-mayo tuna salad that is heavenly for people that love hummus. The garbanzo beans and the tuna complement each other so well. This recipe packs a lot of calories for its size but it is so delicious and super-filling. Enjoy! Ingredients:
2/3 cup nonfat plain yogurt |
1/4 cup tahini |
20 oz. tuna, drained |
15 oz. garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained |
2 tsp lemon juice |
2 tsp cumin |
1/4 cup red onion, finely diced |
Directions:
1. Mix all items in a medium mixing bowl. 2. Serve over cold whole wheat pasta or lettuce, in a pita or with crackers. |
