A different cheese spread that's good with pita chips, soft pita triangles, or flatbread. I usually take this to football tailgate parties. Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese, softened (low fat works well) |
4 oz crumbled goat cheese |
4 oz crumbled feta cheese |
three green onions, chopped |
one can of artichokes, drained well and chopped |
black olives, drained very well, and sliced or chopped |
greek seasoning blend (lemon, oregano, garlic, onlin, nutmeg) |
walnuts, toasted and chopped |
parsley, chopped fine |
Directions:
1. Blend cheeses together; 2. Fold in green onions, artichokes, black olives, and Greek seasoning to taste; 3. Mixture should be stiff; 4. Form into a ball or log; 5. Combine toasted walnuts and parsley; roll cheese log/ball in the mixture. 6. Play with the ingredients until you find a taste that suits you! |
