Baked in a gravy, this meatloaf turns out deliciously moist. Easy to prepare in advance and pop in the oven on nights when you are limited for time. Use a ready made meatloaf and cut the preparation time down even more! Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 onion, chopped |
1 carrot, grated |
1 egg |
salt & pepper, to taste |
1 cup chopped fresh tomato |
1 tablespoon chutney |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
2 tablespoons ketchup |
1 teaspoon mustard |
2 cloves |
1 bay leaf |
salt, to taste |
1 1/2 cups water |
Directions:
1. Mix all meatloaf ingredients and form into a loaf shape. 2. Place in casserole dish. 3. Mix gravy ingredients together and pour over meatloaf. 4. Bake at 180C for 1 hour. |
