simple meatloaf that everyone loves found it on a show in the 1970 an it was tucked away in a cook book so lastnight i made it an it was a hit again an i gave the recipe to many people again Ingredients:
4 lbs lean ground beef |
1 small onion |
1 garlic clove |
1 teaspoon ground black pepper |
2 eggs |
1 cup breadcrumbs |
1 -2 cup cheese |
Directions:
1. grind garlic and onion very fine in a chopper or food processor especialy if your family does not like onions then mix all in a large bowl except the cheese mix good 2. then take a cookie sheet an spread out to fill the cookie sheet at the top place the cheese i use one cup motzarella an one cup sharp cheddar but you can use any then i pull up the sides then here is my trick the meatloaf is long an thin i press the sides up an take my hands an make a line down the middle this allows the loaf to breath an the cheese not to ooze out the sides 3. leave on cookie sheet bake at 350 for at least 45 minutes. |
