Meatloaf and Stuffed Peppers |

My mom's recipe... a family favorite. Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef |
1 cup oatmeal |
2 teaspoons salt |
1 tablespoon garlic powder |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
2 eggs, lightly beaten |
1 cup ketchup |
1 cup milk |
1 cup cheddar cheese, cubed |
6 green peppers, halved |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F 2. Arrange peppers on a baking sheet. 3. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl. 4. Stuff peppers with meatloaf mixture. Put remaining meatloaf mixture in loaf pans, or a 9x13 baking dish. 5. Bake peppers for 45 minutes, until meat is no longer pink. Bake meatloaf in pan for 1 hour, until meat is no longer pink. 6. Let each stand 10-15 minutes before serving. |
