Just used what I had on hand and this came out pretty good. Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef |
2 slices of crumbled wet bread |
1 egg |
3 ounces tomato paste |
1 tablespoon of mccormicks steak seasoning |
1/2 onion, chopped |
3/4 cup beef broth |
1/4 cup ketchup |
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients except ketchup (wet bread so it's saturated but not dripping). 2. Make loaf and place in pan. 3. Cover with tin foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hr 45 minutes. 4. Remove tin foil after 1 hour 5. add ketchup to top of meatloaf 15 minutes before done. 6. I used a turkey baster to remove the fat from the bottom of the pan during cooking time. |
