Ingredients:
3/4 teaspoon(s) freshly ground black pepper
2 pound(s) ground beef
3 tablespoon(s) ketchup
2 large eggs
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon(s) salt
1 slice(s) white bread, torn into pieces
Directions:
1. PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees F
2. GLAZE: 1/4 cup ketchup, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 2 teaspoons packed light brown sugar. Whisk together all 3 ingredients and set aside.
3. COMBINE all the meatloaf ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. press the mixture into a 9 by 5-inch loaf pan.
4. BAKE for 30 minutes.
5. REMOVE from the oven and brush some of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
6. BAKE for 30 more minutes
7. REMOVE from oven and let stand 5 minutes.
8. TURN the meatloaf out onto a serving paltter and spoon the remaining glaze over the top before serving.
