My grandmother's recipe. This is for people who don't think they like meatloaf! We sometimes put it in the smoker for about 4 hours when we are making BBQ and the flavor is fantastic! Definitely worth the wait. Ingredients:
2 lbs ground chuck (needs some fat) |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can stewed tomatoes |
1 onion |
3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1/2 cup water |
1 1/2 cups pepperidge farm herb stuffing |
1 egg |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix with hands until incorporated. Place into loaf pan and bake at 350F for at least 1.5 hours or in smoker at 255F for 5 hours. |
