My grandma's meatloaf recipe. It's delicious and everyone always enjoys it. We always have extra ketchup on hand for topping. Leftover meatloaf always makes for a good meatloaf sandwich the next day! Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef |
1 cup tomato sauce |
3/4 cup quaker oats |
1 egg |
1 cup onion, chopped |
1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
ketchup |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. In large bowl, combine all ingredients, mixing thoroughly. 3. Press into 8 x 4 loaf pan. Cover the top well with ketchup. 4. Bake for one hour. 5. Let stand 5 minutes before serving, draining off any juices before slicing. |
