This recipe came from a friend in Payette, ID from our church, Alma Lee Alexander. Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef |
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped |
3/4 cup onion, chopped |
2 eggs, beaten |
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, cut in 1/2-inch cubes |
2 cups breadcrumbs |
1 1/2 cups tomato juice |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon thyme |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients. 2. Place in 9x9-inch pan. 3. Bake in 350°F oven for 1 1/4 hours. 4. Drain well. Serve. |
