This came from a cookbook at my workplace. Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger meat |
1/4 cup rice, uncooked |
2 teaspoons chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup milk |
1 egg |
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce |
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste |
1 quart water |
1 medium onion, sliced |
1 green pepper, diced |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
Directions:
1. For Meatballs:. 2. Mix all ingredients together; roll into balls and cook in skillet until brown. 3. Then simmer in sauce for 1 1/2 hours. 4. For Sauce;. 5. Combine all ingredients and simmer with meatballs. |
