Ingredients:
3 lbs ground chuck (beef) |
2 cups quick-cooking oatmeal |
1 (13 ounce) can evaporated milk |
1 cup onion, chopped |
2 teaspoons salt |
2 eggs |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
2 teaspoons chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
2 cups catsup |
2 cups brown sugar |
1 teaspoon liquid smoke |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 cup onion, chopped |
Directions:
1. Lightly mix ground beef, oats, evaporated milk, 1 cup onion, eggs, chili powder, salt, pepper and garlic powder. 2. Shape into 1-1/2 inch balls and place in single layer in two 9x13 baking dishes. 3. Combine catsup, brown sugar, liquid smoke and garlic powder. 4. Stir in 1/2 cup of onion. 5. Pour over meatballs. 6. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour. 7. These are wonderful and freeze very well. |
