This recipe uses Grape Jelly and chili sauce. Ingredients:
4 lbs lean ground beef |
1 egg slightly beaten |
1 medium onion grated |
12oz bottle chili sauce |
12oz jar grape jelly |
juice of 1 lemon |
salt dash |
Directions:
1. Blend together meat,egg,onion,salt. 2. form into medium size meatballs. (I take a bowl of warm water beside me to dip my fingers in to loosen the beef from my hand s in between forming) 3. cook on a baking pan until well browned. 4. drain off extra fat. 5. Combine chili sauce,jelly and lemon juice in a saute pan and stir occasionally while heating until you see bubbles. 6. pour over meatballs and serve. 7. Also make a great main course |
