Spaghetti & Meatballs from Eating for Life Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds ground turkey, lean |
2 egg whites |
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs |
1/4 cup water |
1/2 onion, finely chopped |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1/4 cup fresh parsley, minced |
2 tsp dried basil |
1 tsp black pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven broiler. 2. In large mixing bowl combine turkey, egg whites, breadcrumbs, water, onion, garlic, parsley, basil, and black papper. Mix ingredients thoroughly and then shaoe into 1.5 inch diameter meatballs. 3. Arrange meatballs on a baking sheet and place under broiler for 10 to 12 minutes, turning occasionally until they are browned on all sides. |
