This is one of my family's favorites. Hearty, tasty, and simple. From the Old Bakery Cookbook. Ingredients:
4 eggs |
8 tablespoons milk |
4 teaspoons sugar |
2 teaspoons salt |
1 teaspoon accent seasoning |
8 tablespoons soy sauce |
1 teaspoon tabasco sauce |
4 teaspoons garlic powder |
1 cup chopped onion |
2 cups fresh breadcrumbs |
4 lbs ground beef |
1 chopped onion |
1 cup burgundy wine |
1 cup sour cream |
1 can cream of mushroom soup |
1 teaspoon crushed fresh garlic |
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients for the meatballs and place into a foil-lined pan. 2. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes. 3. Remove and drain (meatballs may be frozen at this time for later use). 4. Makes about 150 bite-size meatballs. 5. Combine the 1 chopped onion, Burgandy, sour cream, soup, garlic, and mushrooms. 6. Heat; pour over meatballs and serve over rice or noodles. |
