This is one of my mothers recipes. I make it now that I am on my own. Its very simple. Definitely a comfort food. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
3 -4 potatoes |
1/4 onion, chopped |
1 (8 ounce) can biscuits |
country cream gravy |
Directions:
1. Chop and peel the potatoes. 2. Put in pot and cover with water. 3. Bring to boil and cook until tender. 4. While the potatoes are cooking brown the ground beef with the onions. 5. Once tender drain the potatoes and put into a casserole dish. 6. Add the ground beef and onions and mix it all together. 7. Place the biscuits on top and bake until biscuits are golden brown. 8. Smother with white gravy. |
