Party meatballs swimming in a heavenly sauce. REALLY GOOD. I haven't tried adapting this to vegetarian YET!!! Ingredients:
1 lb ground chuck |
1/2 cup bread crumbs |
1 tsp salt |
1/2 tsp pepper |
1 tbsp grated onion |
1 tsp a-1 sauce |
2 tbsp horse-radish |
1/2 cup tomato juice |
1 egg, beaten |
sauce: 1/2 cup brown sugar |
1 tbsp flour |
1 tsp dry mustard |
1/4 cup orange juice |
4 tbsp chili sauce |
2 tbsp barbecue sauce |
1/4 cup dark karo syrup |
Directions:
1. Mixing the first 5 ingredients, make SMALL balls and bake on a cookie sheet for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. 2. Mix together the sauce ingredients. 3. Simmer slowly for about 10 minutes and pour over warm meat balls. |
