This is a recipe from the church's lady club. It is very basic, but my husband loves it and will not let me change it. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef |
2/3 cup breadcrumbs |
1/4 cub milk |
2 eggs, lightly beaten |
1/2 cup finely chopped onion |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 cup ketchup |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon dijon mustard |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Grease a 9x5 loaf pan. 3. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except topping ingredients. 4. Spoon into loaf pan. 5. In a small bowk, mix ketchup with Worcestershire sauce and mustard. 6. Spread sauce on top of meat. 7. Bake for 1 hour. 8. Pour off drippings before serving. |
