It was the first time I tasted dis dish which my father made for me when I returned from skool . Needless to say it's a sentimental dish which stays very close to my heart . Ingredients:
2 eggs |
chopped onions , green chillies , finely chopped |
lemon twists for garnishing |
grinding |
1 k minced meat |
250 g gram dhal |
15 cloves garlic |
4 cardamom |
2 cloves |
2 inch pc cinnamon |
1 tbsp cumin seeds |
2 inch ginger |
2 onions |
1 tsp pepper powder |
2 tsp red chilli pwd |
pinch of salt |
gravy ( optional ) |
3 onions , sliced finely |
2 tsp ginger and garlic paste |
1 c tomatoes , skinned and mashed |
2 tsp curry powder and chilli powder |
corriander leaves , for garnishing . |
Directions:
1. Add 2 cups of water to the grinding stuffs and boil . 2. Simmer till water absorbed and the meat is tender . 3. Blend it in a mixer and make a paste . 4. Add the raw eggs and mix . 5. Flatten it into small balls and fill with onions and green chillies . 6. Deep fry till golden brown . 7. Serve with chutney and lemon twists or soaked in gravy . 8. Gravy ( optional ) : 9. Fry onion and ginger and garlic paste . 10. Add everythingelse with enough water to make thick gravy . 11. Bring to boil and simmer for 45 mins . 12. Garnish with Corriander Leaves . |
