Satisfying comfort food Ingredients:
4 cups sauerkraut, drained |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 dash pepper |
1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks, undrained |
2 red apples, cored and sliced thin |
1/4 cup raisins |
6 small smoked pork chops |
1 lb knockwurst (6 pieces) |
Directions:
1. Mix sauerkraut, brown sugar, salt, pepper, pineapple, apples and raisins. 2. Layer with pork chops and knockwurst in a 5 qt. dutch oven. 3. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 hours. |
