Meat and Egg Loaf
Ingredients:
340 g minced beef
1 tablespoon tomato puree
pepper
1 pinch nutmeg
1 pinch thyme
1 egg
1 onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 pinch allspice
1 teaspoon parsley
1 hard-boiled egg
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 190°C Put all the ingredients in a bowl, except the hard-boiled egg, and mix until combined.
2. Shape the meat mixture into a flat rectangle and place the hard boiled egg in the centre. Roll the meat around the egg, using your fingers. Place in a small 1lb loaf tin, cover with foil and cook for a further 10 minutes to brown the top.
3. Serve hot with green vegetables of your choice or cold with a large mixed salad.
