Nothing healthier for you than whole fruits and vegetables. Forget buying hyped, expensive shakes . Get a good blender, some fresh organic fruits and vegetables, and enjoy! This one is light and bright tasting. Probably one of my favorites so far. Ingredients:
1 large carrot |
1 stalk celery |
1 tablespoon chia seeds |
1 large banana |
1 medium grapefruit |
1 1/2 cups spinach leaves |
1/2 cup kale leaf |
5 ice cubes |
1/2 cup almond milk |
Directions:
1. Add ice, frozen bananas, celery, and carrots to the blender (I use a 48 year old Vitamix) first, then add the rest. 2. Use the tamper to tamp down. 3. Makes 1 big serving or two small. |
