Matzo Brownies With Brandy |

I found this recipe in my grandma's recipe box. She originally cut it out from a magazine. Ingredients:
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate |
1/2 cup margarine |
2 cups sugar |
4 eggs |
1 cup matzo cake meal |
1 tablespoon brandy (or water) |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. Melt chocolate and margarine in a saucepan over low heat. In a mixing bowl, stir together chocolate mixture and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in matzo meal, brandy and salt. Stir in nuts. 2. Pour into a greased 9x9 baking pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Cool. |
