Ingredients:
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 small green pepper, seeded and chopped |
3/4 teaspoon salt, divided |
2 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped |
1/4 cup vinegar |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine onion, green pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a medium saucepan; add water to cover. Bring to a boil; cover and reduce heat. Simmer 10 minutes. Drain thoroughly. 2. Combine cooked vegetables and tomatoes; mix well. Add remaining salt, vinegar, sugar, and pepper, stirring well. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour. |
