a little different stuffing,worth the try. Ingredients:
6 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed |
1lb sweet italian sausage |
1/2 cup butter |
2/3 cup milk |
2/3 cup shredded american cheese |
1/3cup grated cheese |
2 eggs |
parsely, salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. cook potatoes till tender
2. fry sausages and slice in 1/2 in. rounds, then in quarters
3. drain and mash with butter and milk
4. add cheesses, sausages bits, and mix well
5. beat eggs and blend into potatoe mixture.
6. add salt , pepper, and parsley
7. mixture should be smooth, if too thick add more milk
8. pour into greased casserole pan
9. bake 350 degrees 30 minutes
