Mashed potatoes in a great meat shell Ingredients:
1 pound ground sirloin |
1 can (10-3/4 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup, divided |
1 large egg |
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs |
1/4 tsp salt |
2 cups mashed potatoes |
20 g (4 strips) bacon cooked and crumbled |
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. Mix beef, 1/2 cup soup, egg, bread crumbs, salt in big bowl. Add other seasoning if desired (onion, parsley, etc). 2. Press meat mixture into pie plate, covering sides, also. 3. Bake shell at 350 for 25 minutes. 4. Drain moisture from shell. 5. Combine potatoes, remaining soup, and cheese. 6. Spread potato mix over meat shell. 7. Sprinkle bacon over potatoes. 8. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. 9. Let stand for a few minutes. |
