This casserole has great flavor. Use a potato ricer and it is a smooth as silk. It has great garlic flavor and the combination of the cream cheese and sour cream give some zing. Try it you'll like it. Ingredients:
5 pounds russet potatoes, peeled |
1 8oz package cream cheese, room temp. |
1 cup sour cream |
2 teaspoons garlic salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
4 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Boil potatoes until cooked about 40 minutes. 2. Mash well 3. Using a hand mixer In a small bowl mix cream cheese with the sour cream until fluffy. 4. Gradually beat into the potatoes until smooth. and the garlic salt and pepper and mix will. 5. Turn into a casserole dis and dot with the butter. 6. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 1 hour. |
