Mashed Potato Casserole

This is an excellant recipe that can be made the day before serving and reheated without any change in taste.
Ingredients:
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup sour cream
2 1/2-3 lbs baking potatoes
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
1 dash paprika
Directions:
1. Stir together the cream cheese, garlic salt, pepper and sour cream.
2. Set aside.
3. Peel and cut potatoes into chunks and boil till soft.
4. Mash (or with electric mixer) the potaotes till they are in fine lumps.
5. Add the cream cheese mixture and beat till fluffy and smooth.
6. Spoon into well buttered 2-quart casserole.
7. Dot with paprika.
8. Bake covered in a 400 degree oven for 25 minutes (if made the day before and refrigerated, cook for 50 minutes).
9. Uncover and bake 10 additional minutes to a golden brown.
