A great and tasty variation on mashed potatoes. Ingredients:
3 cups hot mashed potatoes |
1 cup sour cream |
1/4 cup milk |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 1/3 cups french-fried onions |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Combine mashed potatoes, sour cream, milk and garlic powder in large bowl; mix well. 3. Spoon half the mixture into 2 qt. 4. baking dish. 5. Sprinkle with 2/3 c. 6. French fried onions and 1/2 c. 7. cheese. 8. Top with remaining potato mixture. 9. Bake 30 min. 10. until hot. 11. Top with remaining onions and cheese. 12. Bake 5 min. 13. until onion are golden. |
