This frosting uses the fluffy Mascarpone sweet cheese and mixes it with heavy cream and sugar for an irresistible layer for the Italian dessert, tiramisu. Ingredients:
2 (8-oz.) packages mascarpone cheese |
3 cups heavy cream |
1 tablespoon vanilla extract |
2/3 cup sugar |
Directions:
1. Stir mascarpone cheese in a large bowl just until blended. 2. Beat cream and vanilla at low speed with an electric mixer until foamy; increase speed to medium-high, and gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. (Do not overbeat or cream will become grainy.) Gently fold whipped cream mixture into mascarpone cheese. Use immediately. |
