ground beef and pasta casserolle Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef |
1 medium onion, chopped |
2 green peppers, chopped |
14 ounce tomato sauce |
1 tsp oregano |
1 tsp basil |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1 salt and pepper |
1 pound egg noodles |
4 slices american cheese |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef with chopped onion, chopped green pepper, minced garlic and spices. Once browned, drain and add tomato sauce (should be well-mixed but not sloppy). Layer in casserolle dish (I think I use a 1.5 quart dish) with cooked macaroni - meat, macaroni, meat, macaroni, meat. Top with American cheese and bake at 325 degrees until cheese is melted. |
