I have used cream of chicken soup instead of cream of mushroom soup. Both ways are equally good. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 large onion, chopped |
1/2 green pepper, chopped |
1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
1 (10 ounce) can tomato soup |
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/3 cup water |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
8 ounces egg noodles, cooked and drained |
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Grease 3 quart casserole. 3. Brown beef, onions and peppers. 4. Combine next 8 ingredients. 5. Spoon into casserole. 6. Top with cheese. 7. Cover and bake for 45 minutes. 8. Serve over egg noodles. |
