Mary's No Fuss Chocolate Cake |

My friend sent me this after she had it at a friend's house. She is a chocoholic and said this cake is to die for. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups flour |
1/2 cup cornstarch |
2 cups sugar |
3/4 cup cocoa |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
3/4 cup vegetable oil |
2 teaspoons vinegar |
2 cups cold water |
2/3 cup coffee, cold |
Directions:
1. Mix together flour, cornstarch, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. 2. Make 3 wells in the dry ingredients. 3. Pour vanilla, vegetable oil, and vinegar in separate holes. 4. Pour cold water and coffee over all. 5. Whisk until smooth. 6. Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan. 7. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 50 minutes. 8. Test center for doneness. |
