Homemade chicken & dumpling soup. Ingredients:
30 oz boneless skinless chicken breasts |
1 cup diced carrots |
1 cup diced celery |
1 medium diced onion |
24 cups fat free chicken broth |
3 cups bisquick |
1 cup skim milk |
Directions:
1. Cook chicken breasts, cool, dice. 2. Add 1 cup chicken broth, carrots, celery and onion to large pot. Cook until softened. 3. Add remaining chicken broth and diced chicken to vegetable mixture and bring to a boil. 4. Mix together milk and bisquick. 5. Add to pot in individual 1 tbsp quantities until all is used. 6. Reduce heat, cook for 15-20 minutes or until dumplings are cooked through. |
