Ingredients:
1 cup butter or margarine, melted |
3 cups sugar |
6 eggs |
1/4 cup all-purpose flour |
1 cup buttermilk |
2 tablespoons water |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice |
2 unbaked (9-inch) pastry shells |
Directions:
1. Combine butter, sugar, eggs, flour, buttermilk, and water in a medium mixing bowl; beat well. Stir in vanilla and lemon juice; mix well. 2. Pour filling evenly into pastry shells. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool pies before slicing. |
