This dish puts a maryland spin on chinese crab rangoon Ingredients:
8 oz. crab meat (blue preferred) |
8 oz. cream cheese |
1 clove crushed garlic |
2 green onions |
1/2 tsp. old bay seasoning |
12 egg roll wrappers |
1 egg |
vegetable oil for frying |
Directions:
1. Combine cream cheese, crab, garlic, onions, and old bay in a bowl 2. Quarter the egg roll wrappers 3. Beat egg in bowl 4. Brush edges of egg roll quarters with egg 5. Place a teaspoon of crab mixture in center of egg roll quarter 6. Either fold into a triangle or pinch all four middles and seal edges 7. Deep fry in 350 degree oil until golden brown 8. Serve with duck sauce (sweet plum sauce) |
