My daughter asks for this bread for snacks. We serve it with all from pasta Sauces ( gravy ) to steaks & salads.
Ingredients:
1 loaf french, italian, or cuban bread
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper
salt
1/4 cup fine ground parmesan cheese
1 or 2 tabls. butter or margarine
1 tbls fresh chopped parsley
Directions:
1. Slice bread loaf length wise open like bun not all the way through. place on oven sheet . Spread both sides with butter sprinkle both with all spices salt to taste. cover with cheese lightly both sides. sprinkle with fresh parsley flakes. Place under broiler untill golden brown. remove fold together place in oven 325 for few min. slice and serve.
