This is a wonderful side dish that goes well with grilled beef or chicken. Ingredients:
1/2 lb button mushrooms, halved or 1/2 lb portabella mushroom, sliced |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1/4 cup water |
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar |
1 teaspoon dijon mustard |
1 -2 tablespoon lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. 2. Add mushrooms and cook for about 5 minutes or until brown. 3. Combine water, vinegar and mustard and add to skillet. 4. Simmer until liquid is reduced by half. 5. Remove from heat and add lemon juice. |
