Okay, I know this is wrong to tempt everyone with, especially after the holidays but it's a must try. You might think you can postpone it until the end of the year but you just wait and see ;-) Ingredients:
1 prepared graham cracker crust, homemade or store-bought |
1/3 cup milk |
18 - 20 large marshmallows, jet puffed |
6 hershey milk chocolate bars (approximately 9 oz) |
1 cup heavy whipping cream |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. In a double boiler or a bowl set over a pot of water, combine milk and marshmallows. 2. Heat, stirring occasionally to melt marshmallows, until marshmallows are partially melted. 3. Add Hershey Bars and stir often until everything is melted. 4. Remove from heat and let cool completely (approximately 1 hour) 5. In a bowl, preferably metal, whip the heavy cream until fluffy. 6. Stir in the vanilla. 7. Fold the whipped cream into the cooled chocolate mixture. 8. Scoop it all into the graham cracker pie shell. 9. Chill for 4 hours or better yet, overnight. 10. Note: If you are using a small store-bought graham cracker crust, it may overflow. 11. This pie should serve 8-10 and pushing it at 12 people 12. Homemade Graham Cracker Crust: 13. Mix together 1-1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs, 3 Tablespoons sugar and 6 Tablespoons melted butter. 14. Press into a greased 9 inch glass pie plate and bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. 15.
