Most of the al;cahol burns off this dish,but the flavor remains.Serve this tasty bake to liven up a weeknight routine or impress guests. Ingredients:
1/2 c marsala wine |
1 tb soy sauce |
2 tb melted butter,divided |
1 lb mushrooms,thickly sliced |
1/3 c plain bread crumbs |
2 tb shredded parmesan cheese |
1/4 tsp dried sage |
1/2 tsp chopped parsley. |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425' 2. In large bowl,combine marsala,soy sauce,and 1 TB melted butter;mix well. Stir in mushrooms and let stand 10 mins;stir occasionally. 3. In small bowl,combine breadcrumbs,Parmesan cheese,sage,parsley and remaining 1 TB melted butter;mix well. 4. Pour mushrooms into 9 pie plate or baling dish and bake 15 mins. Remove from oven and pour off half the liquid. Sprinkle mushrooms with breadcrumb mixture and bake 10 mins. more,or till browned. |
