Mars Bar Sundae

An old favourite. For SAfricans, use a Bar One.
Ingredients:
2 (54 g) mars bars, chopped
142 ml single cream
8 scoops vanilla ice cream
300 g apricot compote or 300 g tinned apricots
4 amaretti, crushed. (optional)
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, add Mars bars and cream, and melt together over a low heat, stirring till smooth.
2. Scoop ice cream into dishes and spoon over compote. Pour over sauce and sprinkle with crushed amaretti, if using. Serve immediately.
