an almond and brandy based pudding, served with custard or chocolate sauce Ingredients:
5 eggs, separated |
9 ounces sugar |
12 ounces blanched almonds, pounded |
4 ounces breadcrumbs |
1/4 pint brandy |
Directions:
1. beat the egg yolks with the sugar. 2. in another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff. 3. mix all the ingredients together, place in a mould and bake for half an hour. 4. serve with custard or chocolate sauce. |
