Ingredients:
4 onions, chopped |
4 stalks celery, chopped |
2 green peppers, seeded and chopped |
4 cloves garlic, crushed |
1/4 cup vegetable oil |
4 (14 1/2-ounce) cans tomatoes, undrained and chopped |
1 quart water |
6 potatoes, peeled and cubed |
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce |
3 tablespoons lemon juice |
2 teaspoons salt |
1 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice |
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce |
2 pounds marlin fillets, cut into bite-size pieces |
Directions:
1. Sauté onion, celery, green pepper, and crushed garlic in oil in a large Dutch oven until tender. Add tomatoes; simmer, uncovered, 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. 2. Add remaining ingredients, except fish; simmer 1 hour or until potatoes are tender. Add fish; simmer 5 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. |
